Its Alarming

Is it only happening this side?

I wonder if you guys are witnessing these predicaments,

People are dying all over,

Both from the old buddies and the new ones,

Old and young.

Burials numbers are growing large as days goes by

Nowadays

Am afraid to inquire about someone I haven’t seen for a while,

Because the answer has been constant for a while now,

“Oh, that person, they died few days/ months ago”

Same applies when you visit your folks after a few months,

That neighbor you used to chat with,

Is no more, or that new person who moved in,

They passed away the other day,

It’s like death has decided to wipe almost everyone out,

Leaving so many question unanswered,

Going away with all the talents and awesome human beings,

It’s alarming.

  2. Yes, I have noticed that too. I live in Mexico and know people from across the pond, in England and some other parts of Europe and it is happening: people are dying, yes, old and young as well, either from disease or suicide. And it is happening all over the world. Just this week my mechanic lost his mother and his wife as well. My gardener lost his father 2 weeks ago. Every week people tell me they have to bury somebody. And they are in their 50’s, 60’s, or younger. I have my own views and theories about this. What is going on in the world is not pretty. Indeed, it is alarming.
