You only live once hence its very important to live it well. Life is full of tests and lessons with no pass mark or prior preparations from outside forces but entirely from within.
In the next few days I would like us to ask ourselves some crucial questions that will help us understand this paradox called life.
Today lets explore “PAIN.”
How do you perceive pain?
How do you take or see pain?
What’s your take on pain?
Do you believe in your ability to deal with pain?
Do you trust yourself to conquer the pain?
How much faith do you have in you?
Do you approach your pain in a healthy and self-loving way?
Do you have an open mind while facing your pain?
What methods do you apply while dealing with pain?
What is causing your pain?
Is it an unconscious reaction to something happening in your liffe?
Is it someone in your life?
Do you respect your body and self as whole especially your happiness?
If you are currently not respecting your body, why?
What’s your plan for change?
Do you mind your own business?
Or do you mind other people’s businesses and what they have to say about you?
Are you overloading yourself with other people’s problems?
What support do you have while dealing with pain?
Do you need social support from friends and family?
Or do you need some alone time by yourself?
How can you describe what pain is?
Do you see it as a natural part in our lives?
Or do we cause it either knowingly or unknowingly?
Do you fight or deal with pain?
Are you creating any tension to yourelf while dealing with pain?
What’s your mechanism and its consequences?
Do you learn anything from pain?
Are there any benefits derived from pain? If yes,
Do you share with other people?
Always remember “Pain is only what you allow it to be“, C. Clare advised.
I trust answers to these questions will help us gain one more step forward towards the brighter side of pain.
